LATEST WO)))RK . . .
Made this a few hours ago. It's the deepest drone I've ever made. Here's the story behind the name:
"Turkmenistan's aptly named Door to Hell, a 230-foot-wide crater in the middle of the desert near the village of Deweze. In 1971, a team of Soviet scientists set up a drilling platform looking for natural gas reserves. The rig collapsed, and fearing the spread of poisonous methane gas, the researchers set the crater on fire hoping it would burn out in a few hours.
That was more than 40 years ago."

Recent Activity
I've mostly been using the facebook and tumblr pages to keep people informed of my doings lately, but I think this would be better than tumblr. Here's what I have going on now...
The Incorruptible Corpse of Saint Bernadette - 2014 Demo
Dark Ambient / Drone sourced from a Gregorian Chant. It's a single track, almost 68 minutes long. Sacred, but unsettling. Currently working on the art for a CDr release.
Stream and download in MP3 here:

The Third Heaven - "Untitled I"
Gregorian Noise Wall? Single track, sourced from the same song as TICOSB, but much shorter. Sounds like a swarm of angry bees (Or maybe angels preparing for war? Hmm...).
Stream or download here:

The Five Wounds of Christ - "The End"
Imagine an accident on a space shuttle and the anguished screams of an astronaut being sucked out to the vast emptiness of space. A nearly 14-minute science fiction/horror soundtrack with death industrial influences, including the following bands: Brighter Death Now, Mental Destruction, Shift (UK/Sweden), early Gnaw Their Tongues, Stalaggh/Gulaggh, etc.
Stream and download in high or low quality here:

The Five Wounds of Christ - "Untitled 2"
Harsh noise wall track, clocks in at just 56 seconds. Available for stream and download online or physically on the compilation Various - Cincinnati Document Vol. 1

Update
- That practice space didn't work out.
- I moved over two units in my building.
- The weather made me sick for the entirety of summer.
- Had some major issues with my computer.
- I've been working on moving to another city, which has better air. And a strong noise scene, which I've been welcomed into.
- Was finally able to hand over running a website to a friend. It's been my primary focus for two years and I'm burned out on it, so I'm glad to have that off my plate so I'm free to do other things.
- Starting a webzine. It's supposed to launch January 1st of next year.
- Found someone to collab with on noise. I have ideas I want to work on... hopefully they'll develop and come to fruition.
- There was black mold in my apartment for a month. It made me sick and I had to stay out of my apartment for a few days while it was dealt with. I'm mostly recovered... just... tired.
Thank you for reading this. It's been a very long year and I'm really looking forward to its end.
peace to you,
tim
